Health and Safety Policy

At DiverTech Subsea, the health and safety of our divers, technicians, support staff, and partners is an absolute priority. We are committed to providing a safe and secure working environment across all of our underwater operations, in every location where we operate.

Our core objective is to ensure that every team member has the proper training, certifications, and awareness to carry out their duties safely and responsibly. All our professional divers are certified in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and trained as Diver Medics, allowing them to respond quickly and effectively to any medical emergency underwater.

DiverTech Subsea and its subsidiaries are committed to:

  • Promoting safety as a core value at every level of the organization.
  • Strictly complying with all applicable national and international laws and safety regulations.
  • Cultivating a safety-first culture where every employee and subcontractor takes responsibility, participates in safety training, and contributes to continuous safety improvement.
  • Providing the tools, procedures, and protective equipment necessary to assess and minimize risks throughout all stages of each operation.
  • Requiring all partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to comply with our health and safety policy during any collaboration or operation within our sites or projects.
  • Implementing an immediate action and emergency response plan in case of incidents or unexpected risks.
Health and Safety

Non-Compliance and Responsibility

Any employee who deliberately ignores or violates safety protocols, putting themselves or others at risk, may be subject to dismissal. Risk assessment charts are used to identify and communicate the levels of danger associated with each task. It is the responsibility of every team member—and especially of supervisors—to ensure that all risks are minimized to acceptable levels.

Therefore, no diving or underwater work is authorized under the following conditions:

  • Safety procedures outlined in the official checklist are not fully respected.
  • There is a lack of essential operational information or briefings.
  • There is no common working language, creating a communication barrier.
  • Mutual trust is lacking between the involved parties.
  • The vessel crew is overloaded with other duties and unable to adequately support the underwater operation.
